Throughout October, purchase one of our Breast Cancer Awareness Flamingos for $15. All funds raised will support the Temple Cancer Center Indigent Care Fund. Flamingos can be purchased at the Memorial Gift Shop in Lufkin.
What Happens When You Buy a Flamingo?
When you purchase one of our Breast Cancer Awareness Flamingos, your contribution goes directly to the Temple Cancer Center Indigent Care Fund. Your participation will support our efforts to provide transportation, over-the-counter medications, and overnight accommodations at the Joe W. Elliott House in Lufkin for breast cancer patients and help us go beyond the walls of our hospitals to create healthier communities.
When you place a Breast Cancer Awareness Flamingo in your front lawn, you express your solidarity against breast cancer. Your action will remind others of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and encourage them to spread knowledge. CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial would like to thank you in advance for your help in Standing Up to Breast Cancer!
