Hurricane Harvey made landfall as a category 4 hurricane, devastating families and businesses and causing catastrophic flooding. Estimates place the total cost of property damage and lost business in the billions. Recovery and rebuilding efforts will continue for weeks, months and even years.
In the days that followed, a once-in-a-lifetime storm lingered over the southeastern part of Texas, bringing torrential rains and unprecedented flooding.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those in our communities who are being impacted by Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath.
