CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Volunteer Auxiliary Donates NuStep Recumbent Trainer

The Volunteer Auxiliary at CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin recently donated a NuStep Recumbent Trainer to the CHI St. Luke’s Health-Outpatient Therapy Center.  The $6,000 bike is a versatile strength and conditioning machine that can be used for Physical and Occupational Therapy.  Pictured from left to right: Sandy Kraemer; Janelle Talbert; Carissa Peo, Volunteer;  Charlotte Huffstetler; Cheryl Ellisor, Practice Manager at the Center; Sheryl Flores, and Gloria Gregory, Volunteer Auxiliary President.

Money raised throughout the year in the Memorial Gift Shop and through various fundraisers make it possible for the Volunteer Auxiliary to donate equipment to the hospital.
