Facilities and Equipment
Procedures are performed in three of Toshiba’s newest state-of-the-art cath labs with computerized digital hemodynamics and charting. High resolution images are stored digitally and can be downloaded to a CD for transport or emailed via the Internet. A private consultation room, located within the cardiac unit, is included in the image chain, allowing patients’ family members to view images either upon completion of the procedure or when consideration of further therapy becomes necessary. Patients recover in our same day surgery area, which is conveniently located a few doors down from the surgery suite or are admitted to the Progressive Care or Intensive Care Units as needed conveniently located within the same tower, allowing for continuity of specialized care.
